Gift register

Under APSC Guidance for Agency Heads – Gifts and Benefits, we must publish a register of gifts and benefits we accept on a quarterly basis.

All gifts or benefits accepted by Commission staff (and valued at over $AUD100.00 (excluding GST), are reported in our Gifts and Benefits register.

Senate Order 13 contract reporting

To ensure compliance under Senate Order 13, the Domestic Family and Sexual Violence Commission is required to publish a list of contracts entered into with a total contract value of $100,000 or more (GST inclusive) and that:

  • have not been fully performed as at 31 December 2022, or
  • have been entered into between 1 January and 31 December 2022.

The accountable authority of the Domestic Family and Sexual Violence Commission has assured that the listed contracts do not contain any inappropriate confidentiality provisions.

Compliance costs

The estimated cost of complying with the Senate Order for the Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence Commission was approximately $136. General overhead costs are included in this figure.

Audit and Risk Committee

As required under subsection 45(1) of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013, the Secretary of the Department of Social Services has established an audit and risk committee and under subsection 17(1) of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014, determines the functions of the audit and risk committee by written charter.
